This Viking Throwing Axe boasts hand-forged construction for durability and performance. Its head is hand-hammered and sharpened, measuring 56-58 on the Rockwell scale. It also features a hammer poll with a hardened face for additional functionality. With 14" and 18" handle options, each made from weather-proof teakwood, this axe is both hard and durable. The stained handle is ergonomically curved for easier handling and creates a slight downward blade angle at the contact point. For added convenience, there is also a lanyard hole at the base. While not specifically designed for league throwing, the 14" option meets regulation specifications and can be used for informal throwing and general survival needs. Its Viking style leather wrap and hand-hammered head are sure to impress when thrown. To enhance grip, this Norse style tomahawk features a thick harness leather cross stitch and a Norse styled leather strap near the base.
