  This outdoor axe is made as an all around tool, suitable for various woodworking tasks. It can handle splitting and chopping well. At about 3 3/4lbs weight and a 20in handle, it is a convenient pack axe. Short enough to fit in a backpack and still long enough to do some work.
It is hand forged from high quality 4142 carbon steel and expertly heat treated to give the best performance.
