Reclaimed Wood Floating Fireplace Mantel Shelf 3x5

Our handcrafted 3x5 reclaimed wood fireplace mantel shelf. Rustic in nature, steeped in history. Make this authentic old growth barn wood shelf a perfect focal point of your living room/great room. Each and every shelf is unique with many grain variations, knots, worm holes, checks, nail holes, etc. The floating shelf comes with a hidden hanger and each piece is routed out precisely to properly fit the mounting hardware which IS INCLUDED. You will simply need to drill out holes in the back of the product. The holes should correspond with the bracket location on the walls. They require a 1/2" drill bit.

HEAVY DUTY BRACKET UPGRADE:
If a mantel or shelf is purchased with a heavy duty bracket, the mantel or shelf will be pre-drilled for easy installation.

22" brackets should be used with 24-36" pieces

40" brackets should be used with 42-66" pieces

54" brackets should be used with 72-96" pieces

All of our materials come from barns and other structures dating to the late 1700s and 1800s in Pennsylvania.

Finishing: This piece has been lightly sanded on the top and sides and the original face has been left as is. A low gloss oil finish has been applied.

Installation: Mounting hardware is provided with this piece. The product has been routed out to receive the brackets.
