These Silicon Bronze Lock Washers are specially designed to prevent accidental loosening of fasteners. With their split and bent shape, they create a spring-like effect that adds extra pressure to the fastener assembly. This results in increased resistance to rotation, particularly in marine, corrosive, and high-temperature environments. Made of a combination of copper, silicon, and various alloys, these washers are commonly used in plumbing, electrical, tattoo machines, and power plants. Please note that there may be slight variations in measurements due to production differences. Additionally, these washers will develop a patina over time, depending on the surrounding environment, as they are not coated with sealants to prevent this natural process. The washers you receive may have already begun to develop a patina, depending on when they were manufactured.
