This is a simple copper bowl with a tripod stand that is great as a low birdbath or garden centerpiece. The wide shallow bowl gives birds ample space to splash about. Place it on a deck or tabletop, or a pedestal. The small three-footed wrought iron stand is perfect for rock gardens and low border plantings too.
-Bowl measures 14" diameter x 2 1/2 "D and has a threaded base that attaches to the stand
-Made of stainless steel with a hammered copper plated finish
-Bowl has a clear coat to protect the copper finish. The clear coat will dissolve over time to form a natural patina
-Wrought iron stand is 12" W x 9 1/2"H (total height with bowl, 13 1/2")
-Finished with a black powder-coated finish
**If you desire to keep the birdbath looking as good as new, you can recoat your birdbath with a clear sealant to protect the copper-plated finish.**
If you are looking to protect the finish, you will want to apply an eco-friendly, VOC-free sealant. You can also use any polyurethane or marine-safe sealant as long as it adheres to metal and is food and pet-safe after it has fully cured. Here are a few options that may work for your type of application:
