4x4 is not 4"x4"

The product is beautiful and as advertised. When I ordered a post cap for a 4x4 I was expecting it to be for dimensional lumber that is actually3.5x3.5. The cap is made to fit a true 4inch x4inch post. My bad and I will figure out a way to shim/attach the caps onto the footboard bed posts.

We do our best to make everything true to size (we do allow for up to 1/8" variations just due to the way items are made) because some customers use dimensional lumber, others use hand hewn, or uncommon sizes and this typically results in less errors.
