Medieval Reconquista Door Knocker

  • Make a Selection

Medieval Reconquista iron door knocker is a tribute to Moorish Spain featuring diamond patterns, trefoil ends and harsh elements that are derived from Medieval Moorish style with a graceful twisted ring and scrolled knocker to soften the design and adds a Spanish flair. When the Moors invaded the Iberian Peninsula in 711 (Today’s Spain, Portugal, and Septimania) the Christians tried to reclaim control of land, in Spain the 800 year long conflict is referred to as the Reconquista. This design goes well with Moorish, Spanish, Persian, Indian, Gothic, Moroccan, Medieval, and Mediterranean design styles.
