Whether you're planning on hanging a pot of flowers, or perhaps an upside down tomato plant, these hooks add a rustic charm to any front porch or backyard patio.

I can make these in several different sizes, from 8" to 16", but if you need a different size than the ones I have listed, just send me a message, and I'll customize it to fit your needs. The "length" refers to the distance from the back of the hanger to the "hanging point" of the hook, so the total length will be an additional inch or so longer, to accommodate the decorative finial.

Hand forged from steel, these are meant to last, and can hold a surprising amount of weight, perfect for any size of planter. all sizes of hooks can handle at least 40 pounds of weight, but the shorter ones can hold more, with the shortest option being able to hold closer to 100 pounds, for a more robust planter.

Please note that since each item is hand forged from scratch, the appearance may vary from piece to piece.

All of my hooks are made from low carbon steel, which has the possibility of rusting, but I have a couple of different finish options in order to protect your items for years of use. The traditional blacksmiths finish is to apply a layer of beeswax on the metal when it's still hot which creates a tough water resistant matte finish that will work very well on all indoor items, or in protected outdoor areas with care. However for higher moisture environments and for direct sun outdoor exposure, I can apply a heavy duty outdoor polyurethane coating, which is much more rust resistant.
Remember though, that any finish is going to wear off eventually, so if you do start noticing rust developing then you can buff it out with steel wool or a wire brush, and then apply a paste wax to renew the finish. And be sure to let me know if you have any questions or concerns about the finish of your hooks, I'm always glad to answer any questions you have.
