This beautiful Iron bowl is Hand Forged from 1/4" (6 mm) thick metal plate. Hundreds of hammer blows leave their permanent mark, creating a heavily textured surface rendering this piece totally unique.

Once forged, and still hot, the metal is treated with raw beeswax to form a deep, charcoal grey patina. We then carefully hand sand the surface of the Bowl to accentuate the hammer blows - this gives the piece a modern, contemporary look. Finally, several coats of wax are applied to protect the metal. The beauty of the iron shines through.

This large heavy and beautiful bowl is created in our country forge with hundreds of hammer blows creating a heavily textured surface, which renders each piece totally unique.
